Join a volunteer revolution on May 15.
Each year, an army of volunteers impact Cincinnati through various service projects in a one-day, citywide blitz of compassion. Working alongside other churches, we show love to hundreds of community-based organizations throughout our city in practical ways.
Last May, over 6500 people from Crossroads and other partner churches went out to serve the homeless, paint schools, clean neighborhoods and help make a difference at more than 300 sites throughout our city. On Saturday, May 15, 2010, we'll do it again with over 7000 volunteers at more than 400 sites.

FAQ
What if I want to serve on a project with my friends, Free* group or family?
Great. We love groups. Just follow these 5 easy steps:
- Talk to your friends and family and decide who will be in your group.
- Decide what type of group project you’d like to do. Pick a first, second and third choice of project type that works for everyone. We try to make projects kid-friendly, but if you’re not sure your kids would have fun and could help, you might want to make other arrangements for them that day.
Project types include:
Artistic Painting (children 13 and older OK)
Construction (children 13 and older OK)Gardening (children 2 and older OK)
Landscaping (children 8 and older OK)
Organization/CleanUp – Inside (children 8 and older OK)
Organization/CleanUp – Outside (children 2 and older OK)
Painting (children 8 and older OK)
Praying (children 8 and older OK)
Serving Meals (children 8 and older OK)
Working with Children (children 2 and older OK)
Working with Elderly (children 2 and older OK)
- Pick the name of one member of the group as your Group Connector (a name that everyone in your group will select when signing up to let us know that you want to serve together).
- The person named as Group Connector signs up first, answers “yes” to the question “Are you serving with a group?”, names themselves as Group Connector and picks the group’s first, second and third choice of project type.
- Everyone in the group then signs up, also answering “yes” to the question “Are you serving with a group?” and then selects the Group Connector’s name from a list of possible choices.
What if I have a friend who is a Team Captain and is officially leading a project?
Answer “yes” to “are you serving with a group?” and select their name from the list of Group Connector names and you’ll be placed on their team.
Should each member of our family sign up separately?
One sign up per family if you’d all like to serve on the same project, please.
What time is GO Cincinnati?
We work from 9am-1pm, but arrive at Crossroads at 7:30am to check in, grab some coffee and worship together.
Are there any projects for people with physical limitations?
Almost all projects involve physical work, but a limited few do not. Email us for details.
How do I know what project I’m assigned to after I sign up?
You’ll receive an email before the event giving you all of the details about your project. We’ll email you between May 6-10, but not before (so please don’t ask).
